Quality HealthCare supports Colorectal Cancer Screening Programme and provides screening tests to eligible citizens without extra charges
?Often asymptomatic and unnoticeable, Colorectal Cancer is one of the most common cancers in Hong Kong. Starting from 1 January 2020, the Department of Health has extended the coverage of the Colorectal Cancer Screening Programme to Hong Kong residents aged 50 to 75 to benefit wider range of people in the community.
As a healthcare partner of the people in Hong Kong, Quality HealthCare fully supports the Programme and encourages eligible citizens to participate in the screening tests for prevention of colorectal cancer. With over 70 general practitioners and nine specialists from Quality HealthCare registered in the Programme, eligible participants can enjoy free faecal occult blood tests (FOBT) and colonoscopy examinations with no extra charge in more than 25 Quality HealthCare medical centres, along with three endoscopy centres in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui.

Quality HealthCare has further enforced the infection control measures on novel coronavirus infection
The HKSAR Government has activated Emergency Response Level for novel infectious disease.
Patients and our people’s health and safety are always our priorities. Quality HealthCare has enhanced the infection control measures including the setting up of Infection Control Committee to monitor and formulate related actions. Our medical staff has implemented travel declaration, and will perform daily temperature screening on themselves, wear surgical masks and perform hand hygiene frequently.
In addition, patients and customers are reminded to use alcohol hand rub and put on a surgical mask upon arrival to clinic reception. We will carry out temperature taking and health status screening for patients/clients/visitors upon their arrivals, and provide masks to those in need. When an individual is found fulfilling the reporting criteria of "Severe Respiratory Disease associated with a Novel Infectious Agent", we will isolate the suspected case, transfer the suspected case to public hospital for further investigation and carry out thorough disinfection of clinic afterwards.
Related notice has also been displayed at the entrance of the clinic. We will continue to monitor the latest updates from the Centre for Health Protection for appropriate actions.
